It is a widely held view that people buy from people, so I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself and our business. My background is in mechanical engineering, which I studied to HNC level. I entered the motor trade in 1983 and gained my experience with prestigious marques such as BMW, Jaguar and Land Rover. I have held positions in all areas of the motor trade from sales and finance to general management. The buyer of prestigious cars is invariably an exacting and demanding person who will not settle for second best. I have risen to this challenge with relish and providing the very best customer satisfaction has underlined all my endeavours. This is what drives me with the desire to offer you an unrivalled personal level of customer commitment and service. Previously I have been working alongside Adrian Blyth - a man who I hold in the highest esteem and whose business ethic I have come to respect and admire. It is therefore no coincidence that this business draws a lot from what Adrian has set out to achieve. It is here that I acquired my enthusiasm and passion for those iconic sports cars that 'punch above their own weight'; most notably Mazda MX-5s, VX220s and Elises even though they shared showroom space with the likes of Noble, TVR, Maserati and Porsche! I have also had a long standing personal passion for classic cars and from time to time, exceptional examples of these are offered for sale. Other make cars that we offer are also carefully selected and may be considered to be amongst the very best of their type. I endeavour to run or own all the cars we sell - I believe that I am then in a position of some authority to talk about that specific car. We have secured the services of arguably one of the best professional valeters in the business! A person whose dedication to his art and attention to detail I have yet to see surpassed. This continuing high standard provides you with a guarantee that every car we offer is presented to the highest standard possible. All our stock is entirely owned and funded by us outright, this allows us to offer you a well prepared car at a very attractive price, that is not determined by the burden of bank charges or ongoing stocking loans. We have chosen not to offer finance facilities, prefering to concentrate on our core business of supplying the very best cars. We will be happy to direct you to the most competitive sources of funding. "A car dealer who doesn't look towards another profit opportunity from their customer - that's refreshing!" Let it be stated that it matters not where your money comes from - so long as it is legal and is deemed cleared funds on collection of your car! We will only stock cars that we would be happy to own ourselves and will not buy merely to replenish stock. If it means that we suffer reduced stock levels we would rather do that than "taint the barrel for one bad apple". We have in the past traded cars that on first inspection appeared to be up to our standards. Auction houses have their merits, but we prefer to know as much about the history of our cars as we can and so it is not a resource we use. We also chose to outline any cosmetic rectification we have carried out to paintwork and alloys - open and honest is how we like to deal. Invariably most cars subjected to the rigours of our poorly-surfaced roads will have received cosmetic paintwork at some stage. However we can improve your comfort levels on purchase we will. If that means doing it differently then we will. Talk is cheap - please check out our Testimonials page to see what buyers and sellers have had to say. So then; that's how we "set out our stall." If you should chose to purchase one from us, I promise that we will do our utmost to ensure it is a painless and entirely pleasurable experience. Thanks for looking, Peter
